Group Leader
This G Adventures group trip is accompanied by one of our group leaders. The aim of the group leader is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. They will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the countries visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. We also use local guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting - we think it's the best of both worlds.

Day 2: Dijon
There's no better way to immerse yourself into a culture than by exploring the food scene. Set off with your CEO for an orientation walk and market tour. Enjoy some of the local flavours then transit to Marsannay-la-Côte where you'll stroll to the castle before exploring famous vineyards and tasting regional specialties.
Day 3: Dijon
After a short train ride, set off on foot through the villages of Gevrey and Vougeot this morning. Visit the Château du Clos de Vougeot upon arrival, a quintessential Burgundy experience. Later, return to Dijon for an optional dinner and free evening.

All aboard! Wave goodbye to Dijon this morning and set off to Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Join your CEO on a quick orientation walk, then set off for a walk to Pommard. Revel in the French countryside and take in the impressive Château de Pommard before returning to Beaune. Finish up the day with a visit to the famous Hospices de Beaune before turning in for the night.
Beaune is one of the key wine centres in France; Pommard specifically produces full-bodied red wines from Pinot Noir grapes.
