Take advantage of a day at one of the classiest estancias around Buenos Aires to try your hand at the elegant practice of polo. Get out of the city and enjoy a pleasant day in the countryside, learning about our culture, horses and polo, combined with an excellent barbecue and a good wine.
Built as a summer residence for the Pereda family in 1927 by the famous architect Alejandro Bustillo, Estancia Villa María has the perfect combination of a beautiful house and the impressive dimensions of its botanical garden with more than 300 different species of trees from all over the world, all designed by the renowned landscaper Benito Carrasco, disciple of Carlos Thays.
Professional polo players will explain the fundamentals of the game, the rules, its history and the active participation of Argentine polo and its protagonists around the world. They will also talk about the horses used for this sport, their selection, breeding and training.
The idea is that they feel part of the team and it is designed for all levels, it is a very fun activity in which everyone can participate.
You will have a theoretical and practical Polo class, and at the end the Polistas will invite anyone who wants to "Play a game" with them to practice what they have learned.
