Day 1: Florence
Arrive in Florence at any time. Meet your CEO and fellow travellers in the evening at a welcome meeting.

Day 2: Florence to Cinque Terre
Start the day off with a walking tour of Florence seeing all of the famous sites like the Centro Storico, Giotto’s bell tower, the Palazzo Vecchio and The Uffizi. It’s onwards to the Cinque Terre region. On the way the group will stop in Lucca for a guided walk through this medieval town.

Day 3: Cinque Terre
Enjoy breakfast before taking a short train ride to the village of Monterosso, the starting point for today’s activities. From here, you may opt to take a scenic hike along the breathtaking coastal trails of Cinque Terre. Enjoy the free day to explore at your own pace. You might sign up for a hands-on food-making class, book a relaxing boat trip, or wander along other coastal and inland paths that showcase one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in all of Italy.
Spend the morning discovering the five iconic towns of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Cinque Terre:Corniglia, Manarola, Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore, and Vernazza. If you choose not to participate in the optional hike, your Cinque Terre National Park pass will still be available, allowing you to explore all five towns independently by train and on foot.
Day 4: Cinque Terre
A full free day to enjoy the marvels of Cinque Terre. Opt to visit the town of Portovenere or join a pesto-making demonstration in Manarola. You could also spend some time shopping, wine tasting, cafe-hopping, and beach walking if you’re craving more relaxing vibes. Kayaking, boat tours, and hiking are always available.

Day 5: Cinque Terre to Chianti Region
After breakfast, travel to North Chianti region. En route the group will stop in Pisa briefly to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. After, continue driving through the stunning Tuscan area and enjoy an included dinner tonight with the group in North Chianti.

Day 6: Chianti Region
Wake up in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. In the morning, hike the stunning trails around Villa Pitiana and immerse yourself in the beauty of the region. In the afternoon enjoy an included wine tasting and delicious dinner with the group.

Day 7: Chianti region to Naples via Florence
Travel to Naples by private vehicle passing through Florence along the way. Board the boat in the late afternoon and begin your sailing journey to Procida.

Day 8: Procida/Ischia
On the beginning of this sea voyage, you will explore Ischia, a volcanic island known for its healing thermal springs and beaches. From lush nature to a historic medieval castle, there’s much to enjoy. The boat will anchor and the group will have time to explore. Sunset will be seen from the castle before dinner at a local restaurant. Your 16m (54 ft) nimble yacht is the perfect platform to explore the gorgeous Amalfi Coast. Flexibility is key to adapt to local weather conditions, and the skipper will modify the itinerary to our advantage while sailing.

Day 9: Ischia/Capri
Sail to Capri, famous for its dramatic natural scenery and visit the iconic Blue Grotto. Then, explore Capri on your own and opt to join the group for a sunset drink before dinner at a local restaurant. The boat will moor in the marina for the night.

Day 10: Capri/Positano
Enjoy a possible swimming stop today at one of the many beautiful options in the area before continuing on to Positano and its postcard-worthy cliffside setting full of colourful buildings appearing to cascade down to the sea. Anchor in the marina and take advantage of free time to explore the town before sunset and dinner at a local restaurant with the group. Choose to experience the nightlife or head back to the boat for a quieter evening.

Day 11: Positano/Amalfi
Sail to the stunning town of Amalfi, considered the most historic town on the Amalfi Coast itself and home to the impressive 11th-century Cathedral of Saint Andrew. Enjoy time to walk around the town on your own or opt to visit Ravello perched on the hilltop with its villas and gardens. Dinner will be had while in Amalfi and the boat will anchor in the harbour.

Day 12: Amalfi/Sorrento
Travel to Sorrento with a possible swim stop in a beautiful spot along the way. Take time to explore the town and choose to visit the lemon groves or book a cooking class. Enjoy sunset and limoncello this evening and a delicious dinner together as a group.

Day 13: Sorrento/Naples
Sail back to Naples from Sorrento and depart after breakfast.If you would like extra time in Naples after the sailing journey is finished, we recommend booking extra time.

From Naples visitors can explore the rugged Amalfi coast, Italy's most romantic stretch of coastline. Near Amalfi is the resort of Positano, where visitors enjoy strolling through streets and shopping in small boutiques. Take an excursion to legendary Pompeii, an ancient Roman city covered and preserved by the debris from the violent eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The monuments of this city are considered to be among the finest of any ancient city in Europe, and visitors can spend a day here learning about life in a Roman town during the first century A.D. The Cathedral of San Gennaro, a fine medieval building, has one chapel containing the tomb of Charles of Anjou, while another houses the cathedral's gold and silver treasure. Among the Christian underground burial vaults discovered in an area of suburban heights, the Catacombs of San Gennaro can be visited. Capodimonte Park - a well-kept tropical park - has a royal palace built by Charles III in 1738 that now houses Naples' picture gallery, the National Museum of Capodimonte.

Naples' historic city centre is the largest in Europe, covering 4,200 acres and enclosing 27 centuries of history. One of the oldest continuously-inhabited cities in the world with Bronze Age Greek settlements dating back to the second millennium BC, the area was re-founded as Neápolis (‘new city’) in the sixth century BC, becoming a lynchpin of Magna Graecia and playing a key role in the merging of Greek culture into Roman society.

Explore Naples today with your expert guide. Highlights include the Spaccanapoli district, the magnificent Duomo cathedral, the Cappella Sansevero with its virtuosic sculptural masterpiece the Cristo Velato, as well as lesser-known gems such as the San Giovanni a Carbonara. Today’s tour encompasses artistic-historic treasures and plenty of local colour. Along the way, enjoy a bite of Naples’ famous street food ‘frittura’, a sinfully delicious mix of deep fried aubergines (eggplant), zucchini, mozzarella, arancini (rice croquettes), cauliflower, or potato croquettes.
Continue your sightseeing tour in the historic centre of Naples. Visit the Castel Nuovo, the imposing medieval structure built by the Angevins to defend the city. You may also wish to visit the adjoining Palazzo Reale (The Royal Palace Museum and Royal apartments), built in the 17th century. The magnificently decorated halls and rooms contain the original Bourbon furnishings, paintings, statues and porcelain. Enjoy a panoramic drive to reach the magnificent Carthusian Monastery, the Certosa di San Martino situated on Vomero Hill, where you may visit the luxuriously decorated Baroque Style church.

Sorrento is a town of extraordinary beauty and is known as a popular gateway to Italy's most spectacular stretch of coastline - the Amalfi Drive lined with fishing villages and famous resorts. The seaside resort of Amalfi sits with weathered houses scrambling up steep cliffs. Visitors marvel at its location and its magnificent cathedral. The religious sanctuary of Cloister of St. Francis is worth a visit. The tiny, exclusive resort of Positano has its famous world-class hotel, San Pietro. Excavations of the ruined city of Pompeii, which was destroyed in 79 A.D. during the disastrous eruption of Mount Vesuvius, give visitors a vivid impression of life in a very wealthy ancient city and the tragic end of its population. The Isle of Capri ranks as one of the most beautiful islands and has captured visitors for centuries with excellent climate, spectacular landscape and fantastic sea caverns. Amalfi

The small, picturesque seaside resort of Amalfi, famous for its glorious history as a maritime republic, has spectacular scenery and great weather. The white, pink and yellow cottages are surrounded by whitewashed courtyards and winding alleys that make a walking tour a pleasant experience. Amalfi also has several historical monuments worth visiting, such as the Cathedral, the old dockyards and the old Paper Mills where the famous paper of Amalfi was made in the past. Many buildings in the town are surrounded by immaculately kept gardens and terraces, lemon trees, and grape and olive vines.

Positano

Laid at the southern feet of the Mounts Lattari, which protect it from the
Northwinds, Positano enjoys - thanks to its favourable position - all the advantages
of a mild, dry climate. It is surrounded by green mounts, which form a sort
of crown: Mount Comune, Mt. S. Maria del Castello, Mt. S. Angelo a Tre Pizzi
(1444 metres high), Mt. Conocchia, Mt. Campo dei Galli and Mt. Paipo; towards
south and east the gaze sweeps over the sea up to Punta Licosa and Capri. Three
miles away from the coast a little arcipelago rises from the sea - "Li Galli"
or "Sirenuse" - composed by three islands: "Gallo Lungo", "Rotonda", "Castelluccio",
which was always supposed to be the abode of the bewitching Syrians.

The origins of Positano, like those of many other towns, are lost in the mists
of time, so that it is difficult to distinguish between history and legend.
As it often happen in the past, myths supplied for the lack of data: one of
these myths tells us that Positano was founded by Poseidon - the Latin Neptune,
the god of the sea - for the sake of the nymph Pasitea, whom he loved. It is
certain that Phoenicians and Greeks, travelling westwards, landed in Positano,
which at that time, was inhabited by Oschi and Piceni. The Romans built near
the 'great' beach a rich patrician villa, which has now been buried by gardens
and by the church devoted to Our Lady of the Assumption. With the fall of the
Roman Empire Positano became a part of the Republic of Amalfi, the first maritime
republic, and went through flourishing period, owing to the commerce with the
other countries of the Mediterranean area.

Unfortunately this period was followed by gloomy ones, particularly during
the Angevin and Aragonese domination, when our village was more than once exposed
to the offence of the Saracen pirates, first, and, then of the Turkmen. A legend
referring to that period says that the Saracen pirates, during an incursion,
sacked the main Church and brought away, among other things, the Byzantine picture
of Black Virgin, which was kept in the church and is now to be found in the
apse over the high altar; they had just left the shore, when a voice was heard,
that said: "Posa, posa". The pirates became aware of having committed a sacrilege,
repented came back ashore and restored all the ill-gotten goods. To defend themselves
from the very frequent raids of the pirates the inhabitants of Positano built
three guard-towers, which can still be seen today in the quarters called "Fornillo",
"La Trasita", "La Sponda" and some others in the inner part of the village.
In the same period the mountain villages of Montepertuso and Nocelle enlarged
to harbour the inhabitants of Positano and Laurito, who feared the pirates.

In 1700 there was a thriving period as it is shown by many villas in the late
Baroque style, built on the East coast. The Unification of Italy forced many
inhabitants of Positano, as it happened for so many other people of South Italy,
to migrate to America, where fortune smiled on some of them. After the First
World War - during which Positano also paid its great tribute of blood - this
village, which was already the refuge of some Italian artists, like Vincenzo
Caprile, harboured many Russian, German artists and men of letters, who chose
it for its peace and quiet. Among others we can remember: Semenov, Zagoruiko,
Essad Bey, Clavel, Escher, Massine, Kovaliska, Ghillausen, etc., who with their
works maid this flat of land known all over the world.

The tourism booming took place after the Second World War; but despite of an
intense expansion our village preserve its characteristic vertical structure
and its bright architecture with suggestive, panoramique corners. Thanks to
the innate sense of hospitality of its inhabitants Positano became one of the
most famous tourist places all over the world. Our village is also internationally
known for its clothing production: many little, but elegant boutiques, which
are almost everywhere on both sides of streets and lanes, can satisfy all the
requests of a cosmopolitan clientele. Its favourable position put it in the
centre of a land rich of history and natural beauties. During the summer a series
of patronal feasts - among which we can remember that on the 2nd of July in
Montepertuso and that on the 15th of August in Positano - and cultural events
- like the International Award for the Art of Dancing to the memory of the great
dancer-choreographer Leonide Massine - gladden the evenings, making the stay
in this charming place, also called the "Gem of the divine coast", more pleasant
and suggestive.

Explore the ruggedly beautiful Ligurian villages of Cinque Terre. With their steep-walled coastal cliffs, the villages of these "Five Lands" are perched high above the sea, commanding spectacular views. Accessible by boat, railway or on foot, Cinque Terre has remained relatively isolated from the rest of the world for centuries, which has helped to retain the medieval look of the "Five Lands." San Pietro, a 13th-century church, stands above a grotto named after Lord Byron. Part of the structure dates back as far as the 6th century. Brightly painted with black and white stripes, this striking landmark can be spotted from far out at sea. From the terrace enjoy a spectacular panorama of the Gulf of La Spezia and the hills of Cinque Terre.

These are the Cinque Terre (Five lands), recognized as National Park in 1999 and as UNESCO protected territory in 1997, as a system of naturalistic and environmental interest. This zone is characterized by the presence of precipitous slopes cultivated into vineyards by a system of terracing, the only evidence of transformation operated by the laborious human activity on the territory.
The five villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore form the renowned Cinque Terre.
